Connect the Dots

Drunk people are like babies; they could hardly walk straight, manage things on their own, speak properly and even make sense while communicating simple stuff. They just keep doing strange random activities in unusual way and end up usually in the most hilarious way that no one can-hardly resist laughing out loud.
That’s ok if someone is drunk BUT if not then it could be worryingly ALARMING, it begins to raise so many questions, like if the person is facing serious physical or mental-health illness, having problem handling jealousy, threatened to do something that they don’t want to do or may be working on some “agendas” for their regular remuneration package…
You can take it on a serious note or a complete crap, depending upon the intensity of stupidity or cleverness that you observe by your sharp powers of observation and clutch their clever crossword clue. Whatever the case is, it cannot go unseen by those who have “eyes of the Hawk”.
However, we cannot always take such people so seriously but when it comes to matters of national security measures, things MUST be done in a very appropriate and significant manner, especially when you are fighting a war that has been imposed on you and the enemy is attacking you from all sides at the same time. In such cases, there are bright chances that whatever they do or say has meaning behind it. It is possible that they may be telling the story from what they see or may be “chewing” the words that have been given in their mouth by “someone” else.
These kinds of people should be dealt officially; and if found guilty they must be shutdown once and for all, to set an example for every single person who takes national security as a joke. The message should be given loud and clear, it SHOULD be something like “anybody messing around with matters of national security will be given bloody noses”. This might seem bloody harsh but that’s the reality of establishing and maintaining the stable law and order situation for any country.
For example in 2014, a large quantity of anti-Pakistan literature as well as maps of a separate Balochistan were recovered during a raid of Attashad Degree College in Turbat district of Balochistan. It was also reported that one of the students was suspiciously found brainwashing students to conduct acts of terrorism in the country by a secret intelligence service. Frontier Corps (FC) claims after raid and further investigations unveil many clandestine talks and recovered material that included separatist leaflets, banners and posters, books including Nehru and Gandhi’s biographies and books about Baloch separation. These books were printed in Karachi and neighboring countries.
Despite knowing all these details yet many journalists are trying to twist things in a way that create doubts even in a mature mind. For example, couple of days backs a female writer tried to dig a year back story and thrown out disruption of her mind in a well-known news paper. According to basic principles of journalism, she had to come-up with something logical BUT unfortunately there was nothing left logical in that story after FC’s raid and proofs shown to media; so she tried to complicate things by questioning like:
·        Public schools in Balochistan teach neither Balochi nor Brahui; (keep that in mind that in every province of Pakistan, except Sindh, there may be hardly few schools teaching provincial language; then why her only focus was conjecturing around Balochistan?)
·        Works by Gandhi cannot be found in Balochistan. (Honestly speaking, that was the most ridiculous part of her whole argument on war of language; I mean seriously, are we talking about some Indian province here? What is the Gandhi’s role in Balochistan? Is he Allama Iqbal that she got so concerned about his missing literature?)
·        As there is no institute in Balochistan that offers Balochi or Brahui that means it is the fault of establishment. (If that is the case then what is the job of elected members in Balochistan assembly? if they don’t want to make Balochi and Brahui as elective subject will that be fault of someone living in Gilgit-Baltistan?)
·        The writer was invited in a university in Turbat where she was asked to take a look at a room full of dusty cartons filled with Balochi books. (Was that also the fault of the establishment that the university management did not bother to thresh books before inviting guests?)

Before concluding I would like to remind you few points that were going in back burner; Many of you are well-aware of the plan leaked years back by Pakistan Intelligence services that discloses the extreme sensitive information regarding a resolution passed in the US Congress to divide Pakistan and shape out an independent Balochistan to establish India’s hegemony over Pakistan; Not only that but US wants to control Afghanistan-Balochistan to link the Central Asian energy oil and gas pipelines with Gwadar and delink Pakistan and Iran by carving out Balochistan and obviate the Iran-Pakistan energy/gas pipelines. Last but not the least “establish Pro-US military presence in Balochistan for upcoming US-Israeli war against Iran.
So, apparently the whole argument of war on language was nothing but a complete waste of time and a message in between the brackets; Somehow the lady wants to create doubts regarding that year back raid in which a large number of anti-Pakistan literature was found, she is directly maligning the reputation of security forces and law enforcement agencies who are the BIGGEST hurdle between latching Balochistan with Pakistan, on such a crucial stage when the enemy is trying hard to cripple Pakistan by separating Balochistan that has 46 percent of its territory with large mineral resources, besides the future global port of Gwadar.
I guess there is nothing left to share more BUT keep that in mind “It took years of hard work to connect the dots and unveil such types of conspiracies”

Reality Of Relief Efforts In Balochistan

Awaran is a district of Balochistan that was hit by 7.7 magnitude earthquake on 24^th of September, 2013. The aftershocks were even scarier for the population that was affected by earthquake; reports say that 125,000 out of 3000,000 inhabitants of the district suffered because of this natural catastrophe. Those who don’t know much about this area will be amazed to know that Awaran is one of the most underdeveloped districts of Balochistan. According to Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority’s (ERRA) estimates, this disaster took 375 lives, left more than 825 injured and twenty five thousand houses completely destroyed. Right after the disaster, as always, Army was deployed for the relief efforts immediately. According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), One thousand Army personnel from Quetta and Khuzdar reached the affected areas and began relief work within few hours. Army units from Karachi also rushed to the affected areas for timely provision of medical aid. Dozens of people were trapped under the rubble of their collapsed houses; yet important to highlight that because of immediate rescue operation many lives were saved.

Pakistan Army, along with FC (Frontier Corps), promptly acted as asked by the government. Army, FC and PAF operated in a closely coordinated “Relief &Rescue” joint operation.  PAF C-130, dropped huge amount of relief goods, a sigh of relief to affected inhabitants. It is true that the FC components located in the area were also struck due to this high scale earthquake but even though they were the first ones to respond to the situation with a full sense of responsibility without any hesitation. Even before the collection points were established in, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Quetta, Karachi and Islamabad; they distributed their own rations that was around 500 tons; they distribute tents, sleeping bags, mattresses, bed sheets, blankets, clean cloths, cooking utensils, bathroom items, medicines, and other commodities of most common use. Around 2,500 Army personnel and 1,000 FC personnel were part of the relief efforts, these relief efforts continued even during the Eid days including a unit of Army lady officers was also deployed to help earthquake victims. By the end of the Eid holidays, 24 relief sorties of C-130 and 240 helicopter sorties had flown, completing over 526 flying hours. a field hospital in Awaran and six mobile medical camps at far-flung localities were also established by the Army. Where more than 8,000 local patients were been treated, besides that  7,000 tons of food items were delivered and 37,000 tents were distributed by the Army besides thousands of school books, stationery items along with sports gear.

Sadly, the relief efforts were been politicized and its reason was “militarized”. The militants and their collaborators along with the help of hostile neighbor countries and agencies violently started opposing the relief activities by the Army and FC. Whether it was a war of words, or a war of weapons, without any distinction they sabotage the relief efforts. The militants repeatedly attacked Pakistan security forces personnel during relief work. According to reports, during first twenty attacks, six security forces personnel embraced martyrdom and leave more than one dozen seriously injured. They were heavily equipped with foreign funded weapons and sadly are still actively working against Pakistan army. The relief work was badly affected by these militants yet army is still working hard to maintain the law and order situation along with relief work. The noble acts and activities are continuously opposed and relief work was not only attacked by rockets and machine guns but also Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) by the militants. I appreciate the efforts of Pakistan Army but I also believe that it has become VERY necessary for Law Enforcement agencies and security forces to deal with these militants ruthlessly in order to maintain law and order situation so that they ‘dare’ not disturb the relief efforts or any other development projects. Remember, Prosperous Balochistan is the key of successful Pakistan!

راز کھل چکے ہیں ماموں!

مئی 2012، لاپتہ افراد کے لئے بنائے جانے والے کمیشن کے چیف 'جسٹس(ر) جاوید اقبال' نے کمیشن کو یہ رپورٹ پیش کی تھی کہ لاپتہ افراد سے متعلق کئے جانے والا پروپیگنڈہ نہ صرف بے بنیاد ہے بلکہ اس پروپیگنڈے کے ذریعے قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں کو بدنام کرنے کی بھی کوشش کی جا رہی ہے۔
وقت گزرنے کے ساتھ ساتھ جب حقائق سامنے آنا شروع ہوئے تو معلوم ہوا کہ اس  پروپیگنڈے کا مقصد صرف قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں کو بدنام کرنا ہی نہیں تھا بلکہ اسکی آڑ میں بہت سے گھناؤنے رازوں پر پردے ڈالنا بھی تھا۔ جیساکہ لاپتہ افراد جن کا زوروشور سے چرچہ ہو رہا تھا وہ افراد اچانک غائب کیسے ہوئے؟ ان کو غائب کرنے سے فائدہ کسے ہوا؟ انہیں زمین نگل گئی یا آسماں؟ ان تمام سوالوں سے جان چھڑانے کا ایک بہت اچھا طریقہ یہ ہے کہ لوگوں کے دلوں میں اس طرح کی باتیں ڈال دی جائیں جن سے نہ صرف ان سوالات سے جان بخشی ہوجائے بلکہ اس سے  پہلے کہ سوالات کی بھونچاڑ ہم پر ہو الٹا ہم دوسروں پر شروع کر دیں۔
یہ دوسرے کون ہیں؟ ظاہر ہے وہی، جو یہ ملک، دشمن کی لاکھ کوششوں کے باوجود بھی ٹوٹنے نہیں دے رہے ہیں۔ ایک طرف وہ سردار اور نواب جو غریب بلوچ عوام پر صدیوں سے نہ صرف حاکم بنے بیٹھے ہیں بلکہ اس عوام کو اس قدر پسماندہ حالت میں رکھے ہوئے ہیں کہ کہیں ان میں سے کوئی پڑھ لکھ کر انکے مقابلے پر کھڑا نہ ہو جائے، کیونکہ اگر ایسا ہوتا ہے تو پھر یہ اپنی حاکمیت کس پر جھاڑیں گے؟
دوسری جانب ماما قدیر نامی ایک کردار لا کھڑا کرنا جس کا اپنا ماضی نہایت ہی مشکوک ہے، '' یو۔ بی۔ ایل '' میں کچھ سال قبل ملازمت سے ہاتھ دھونے والا یہ شخص درحقیقت غبن کرتے پکڑا گیا تھا مگر چونکہ اسکا بیٹا بلوچستان میں بدامنی پھیلانے والی ایک تنظیم کا سرگرم کارکن تھا لہذا مقدمہ دائر کرنا تو دور کی بات، کس مائی کے لال میں اتنی جرات نہ تھی کہ ماما قدیر سے انکے ڈھیروں ڈھیر اسلحے سے لیس بھانجوں کے ہوتے ہوئے سوال بھی کر جائے۔ ماما قدیر کے بیٹے کی سرگرمیاں کسی بھی عام انسان کے ہوش اڑا دینے کے لیے کافی تھیں۔ مصوف انسانی سمگلنگ کے علاوہ کم عمر بچوں کو ڈرا دھمکا کر  انہیں بم نصب کرنے کی تربیت دلواتے تھے جس کے دوران بہت سے بچے دوران تربیت ہی مارے جاتے تھے۔
 ان حضرت کی اضافی خوبی کا قارئین کے سامنے ذکر نہ کرنا بھی سرا سر زیادتی ہوگی،  تو چلیں پھر ذرا دل تھام لیں۔ ۔ ۔ جس انسانی سمگلنگ کا گزشتہ پیراگراف میں ذکر کیا گیا ہے اس کا تعلق اُن کیمپوں سے ہے جو افغانستان اور بھارت میں دہشتگردوں کو تخریب کاری کی تربیت دے کے افغانستان کے راستے بلوچستان سے ہوتے ہوئے پاکستان کے مختلف شہروں میں منظم قسم کے حملے کرانے کے لئے استعمال کرتے ہیں۔
اسی سمگلنگ کے دوران جب بگٹی امن فورس جلیل ریکی ( ماما قدیر کے بیٹے) کے  عسکریت پسند گروپ کو پکڑ لیتی ہے اور دونوں جانب سے فائرنگ کے تبادلہ کے دوران جلیل بھی مارا جاتا ہے جسکی خبر ٹیلیویژن نیوز چینل کے ذریعے پھیلتی ہے۔ ایسے میں ماما قدیر کو دن میں تارے دکھائی دینے لگتے ہیں۔ اب چونکہ جھوٹ پکڑا گیا تو ماما جی نے کہانی کو نیا رنگ دینا شروع کیا جو کسی حد تک ماما قدیر کو بےچارہ ثابت کرنے میں مددگار بھی ثابت ہوا۔
ماما قدیر کے دھرنوں اور لانگ مارچ کے سلسلے شروع ہوتے ہیں اور بقول ماما جی کے 21ہزار لاپتہ افراد کے لواحقین اس لانگ مارچ کا حصہ بنتے ہیں مگر تصاویر اُٹھا کے دیکھی جائیں تو 21ہزار لاپتہ افراد کے لواحقین میں سے 21سو بھی وہاں موجود نہ تھے۔ کل ملا کے ہر تصویر میں مجھے 21سے 22 افراد ہی ہر جگہ دیکھائی دیئے۔
سمجھ سے باہر ہے کہ ہمارے اعلی حکام کہاں سو رہے ہیں؟ ایک ایسا شخص جو دہشتگردوں کو اس طرح سے پورٹریٹ کرتا ہے کہ فوج کے شہداء تو ایک طرف بے گنا بازاروں مسجدوں اور حتی کہ پرامن مذہبی جلوسوں سے لیکر ٹرینوں تک میں بم دھماکے کرنے والے معصوم اور انہیں روکنے والے بُرے؟ آفرین ہے ان سب پر جو ابھی بھی ماما قدیر کی یہ سب باتیں نہ صرف سنتے ہیں بلکہ دہشتگردوں کے اس ماموں کو بک بک کرنے کے لیے اپنے پروگراموں میں مدعو بھی کرتے ہیں۔
میری قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں سے گزارش ہے کہ ماما قدیر جو نہ صرف پورے ملک کو ماموں بنانے کے چکروں میں ہے بلکہ ملکی سلامتی کے اداروں کے خلاف بھی سازشیں کر رہا ہے۔
اس شخص کو کوئی بھی نجی ادارہ چھان بین کر کے نہیں بلاتا۔ اسی لیے کوئی بھی اسکے ماضی سے واقف نہیں ہے لہذا یہ حکومت اور قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں کی ذمہ داری ہے کہ وہ ملکی سلامتی کو پیش نظر رکھتے ہوئے ملک میں ایسے تمام لوگوں کو بے نقاب کریں۔

Khuzdar, The City Of Opportunities

It was Friday the 13th of March 2015, when in the evening after having a tiring but amazing day in university with friends, I begin chatting with my cousin in Karachi. While sitting in my peaceful living room,I was telling her about various educational programs being offered by Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology in Khuzdar. In the middle of conversation, she showed me a piece of writing, written by someone I had never heard before. Whatever was written in that article was hard to believe for a person like me, who actually belonged to Khuzdar. I began a little investigation and came across many things. I even contacted few journalists and tried to figure out things, the more I studied, the more my curiosity increased. After completing my research, I have so many things to share with all those who believe in the crap written.

            Before I come to the actual point, I would like to ask you to imagine the height of anger and frustration if you plan something for fifteen years and then that hard work goes wasted? Due to my quest as a student, I acquired some information and came to know about Operation Blue Tulsi, which was exposed by Pakistani media in 2009. Since then its planners are fuming with anger and frustration as it broke the back bone of their greater plan. A plan that is even greater then it smells to an average mind like yours and mine,as it is spread from North Waziristan to FATA, Karachi to Lahore and Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa to Balochistan. 90 out of 100 attempts of defaming the security forces and establishment got miserably failed; frustration turned into never ending revenge with sand slipping out of their dirty hands with failed cards to play around.

            When all on ground attempts of creating chaos begun to fail and rate of success stayed constantly below 2 to 3 percent only, one thing could help the enemy and that was “PROPAGANDA”. Just to make you understand the power of propaganda, I would like to quote an example here, the example of “Jakob the Liar”. A poor but clever Jewish shopkeeper, who was caught out in curfew during World War II and sent to Nazi concentration camp in Poland, where Hitler used to torture and kill Jews. Jakob begin to cook imaginary stories regarding a radio hidden in his cell and news bulletins about Allied advances against the Nazis. Jakob told prisoners that they should remain hopeful as the army of Hitler is facing savage beating in the battlefield. These lies brought humor and life among the disheartened ghetto inhabitants. Later, when prison officials discovered about Jakob’s stories and his radio news bulletins, a search operation was conducted that revealed that there was no radio found in his cell. The propaganda of Jakob succeeded, even after he was caught and killed by Germans. His propaganda did the job that no one could do at that time. The Jews still consider Jakob as a hero and believe that the Germans were liars.

            The reason why I quoted this example is to tell my readers that the same method has been applied in Pakistan since decades, where even after getting failed time, our enemy is not going on back-foot, and the reason is that the enemies within our ranks are playing the key role for their foreign masters intentionally or unintentionally. Stories of lies and deceptions are everywhere on the name of freedom of speech or journalism or whatever you may name it. They will tell you stories but will never come up with proof or even the identity of their sources is dubious. On one hand they openly accuse security forces and on the other hands claim that identity of sources cannot be disclosed due to life threats. They can tell you that they were kidnapped by security forces but then they escaped after few months. Did captors show them their identities after kidnapping? Is it possible that someone who kidnaps you, tells you that he is working for someone whom you are against and actually he (the kidnapper himself) is also against that group or specific person? Why the enemies kill your relatives instead of killing you directly? How come you are still alive? This is because they want you to defame the establishment otherwise your loved ones would have to pay the price with their blood.

            It is obvious that the writer has written the story from the angle of Baloch separatists by maligning the establishment and the people who are siding with the state. There must be some kind of real investigative journalism to find out the truth about him. Who knows that this report might be a complete fabrication of his mind because anyone can fabricate stories like these claiming to have come from anonymous sources? According to my research even if his kidnapping story is true, It’s a known fact that different groups of kidnappers who work under the orders of foreign masters tell their hostages that they are in custody of state agencies, to make them believe that state is responsible for all these atrocities. There is no way to know if he was kidnapped by Mengal or someone opposed to Mengal to malign him. Similarly, there is no way to know if the people killed were killed by one group or the other to malign each other.

            At the end of the day, the benefits of this title “Khuzdar, the city of padlocks” seems to remove all the checkpoints of law enforcement agencies, so that the foreign elements involved in terrorism do not have to face much trouble in transporting weapons into these areas? I do not consider the writer to be a true journalist, rather an novice one, who has left so many question unanswered even after writing lengthy paragraphs.

Story of the Baloch

It is really a difficult job to synchronize eleven thousand years in few pages Balochistan’s known history is even much older. Blochs are one of the most blessed people on earth by all means; our vast country from central Asia till the Baloch Sea in Indian Ocean is full of the most precious treasures materially and spiritually. We are one of the richest nations in the world if we assess our assets of gold, oil, gas, Uranium, and precious stones. We own the longest coast in Asia 1700 km on the opening of strait of Hurmag (Hurmuz) till Karachi. Our pearl like clean sea waters are full of world’s largest prawns, dolphins, sharks, whales, huge size green turtles called living dinosaurs, and other marine life.

Millions of years ago the great land of Balochistan was lush with greenery and jungles where lot of food was available this was dinosaurs’ age. Complete skeleton of one of those dinosaurs was found in Dera Bugti Balochistan, research by the archeologists and zoologists have proved that the present Baloch horses’ ancestors were these Baloch dinosaurs. Baloch dinosaurs found in Dera Bugti Balochistan Life are flowing here from pre history till today in a sequence there is not a single evidence of any irrelevance. The whole of Baloch Kurd landscape is full of archeological sites that show our wonderful past and our contribution in human civilization. Mehrgarh is the jewel of Shaal-Naal civilization where the very basic tools of human civilization were invented like wheal and expression by writing in symbols called proto writing, and many other inventions in Mehrgarh were used thousands of years later in other civilizations. Wheal is known as the foundation of civilization, as its invention made transportation traveling easy and speedy, pottery manufacture more developed and sustainable, its use in pulley and other basic instruments made economic development faster. It is an honor that wheal was first invented in Mehrgarh Balochistan. Today’s life of Baloch people in divided and occupied territories, facing actions from the states to keep us away from knowledge, infrastructure, development and unification has resulted in many kinds of our depravations and exploitations and someone coming from today’s developed and renaissance Europe cannot think about our actual status in creation of todays human civilization. That happened when a French archeologist team in leadership of Mr. Jean Francois Jarrige came to the Mehrgarh Balochistan on invitation of Chief of Raisani Balochs in December 1974, he visited archeological sites there and thought that as a connecting corridor the remains of karawans from Mohanjo daro and Harrapa of Indus, Shahr e sokhta of Turkmenia and Mandigak of Kandhar civilization are left here but when he excavated deeper and deeper his team was surprised to find that they are in the remains of the mother of all civilizations of the world. They left all other archeological fields and concentrated only on Mehrgarh and areas around it for last 37 years to work more and more and understand the beginning of human society, social relations, economic activities, geographical linkages and impact of Mother civilization of Mehrgarh on the neighboring civilizations of Central Asia Iran Afghanistan India and Babylon as its grand children. The great Kurd nation is the ancestral or mother nation of Baloch. Kaldani, Adargani, Naroi, Brahoi, Zangana are the major ancient Kurd tribes that have multiplied and developed as today’s Baloch nation. Balochi (Brahoi, Rakhshani, Sulemani and Makurani) dialects are also spoken by Kurds till today. Few hundred years ago a famous Baloch scholar Akhund Saleh wrote a book ‘Kurdgal Namek’ that contains all the details of these Kurds and their fabulous ameers who lived in a very organized, united and respectable manner from Makran to Central Asia. Kurd ancestors have left their cherished memories as Gabrband the catch dams for water management, Miri the Kurd forts and Karez the underground irrigation channels, these are found all around Makran, Jhalawan, Sarawan, Rakhshan, Sibi and Derajat. Khuzdar and Kalat always have been the capital of Balochistan. Baloch country has always been a welcoming homeland for all Kurd Balochs from Halab Syria, coast of Caspian Sea, and Mount Alboorz whenever they had serious problems with their neighbor nations. Arrival of these Balochs strengthened local Kurd Baloch’s defensive and economic systems and contributed new shades of culture in the existed rich Kurd Baloch culture. This migration is of internal nature; Kurd Baloch people had issues in their habitats they migrated to Balochistan for a safer life with their own Balochs in majority and stronger position but sometimes historians mistakenly assume any one of these great migrations as the whole Baloch history that needs to be corrected. Balochs are living in Balochistan for thousands of years in a proven sequence of all ages pre Neolithic that is before stone age, Neolithic chalcolithic age when humans domesticated animals and started agriculture, till today’s scientific age, and in all these ages we have created almost same geometric designs as motifs, paintings, embroidery, rugs, carvings so it is not only a proof that we are the creators of Mehrgarh, but it is also a unique journey of creative art for eleven thousand years by Kurd Baloch women that is mostly made with geometric shapes and permanent colors these colors become more prominent on the rocks when rain falls on these paintings even today. These red and black colors are used in pottery painting in Mehrgarh and many thousand years after in painting of Kurd Baloch heroes and same kind of symbols on rocks in the mountains of Balochistan and Kurdistan. Treasure hunters are busy in digging and destroying the archeological sites for greed they sell our history for few pennies they must be stopped, anywhere you find such thieves stop them; there should be a punishment for such thieves by community elders, because they are depriving us from our national pride.Kalat was the capital of the Kurd Baloch country centuries before the Hakhmanshi dynasty of Faras. According to Kurdgal Namek the great Med Kochak Kurd is the great ancestor of the indigenous Balochs of the present Balochistan from his line eight Kurd Baloch brothers are the ancestors of the main basic Baloch tribes Adargani Kurd Baloch lived in Makran, Naroi Kurd Baloch in Seistan and Rakhshan till Nimroze and Hirat, Brahoi Kurd Balochs in Sarawan Jhalawan, in Kachhi they lived jointly for a stronger defensive strategy. Zangana Kurds lived in the north of Balochistan now in Afghanistan.

Another great Baloch tribe is Rind from the line of eminent Kaldani Kurds lived in Halab Syria. One of the grand migrations in Baloch history is of forty four Kaldani Kurd tribes collectively called the Rind in the leadership of Mir Jalal Khan migrated from Halab to Makran. The brave Rinds are living from Makran to Sibi and Derajat as one of the prominent Baloch tribes playing leading role in today’s Baloch independence movement as Marri and Bugti.

Around eight hundred years ago a brave Kurd chief Amir Kambar Rais put the foundation of the present Baloch dynasty. Amir Meero, Mir Omar, Mir Hammal Jiand Hote, Mir Chakar Rind, Noori Naseer Khan, Mir Mehrab Khan earned the status of great Baloch rulers in history.

Heroic bravery of Baloch is praised by many historians and poets of other nations. Herodotus a Greek historian wrote that Baloch army was wearing leather jackets and shiny swords, when they fight never give up.

Shah Latif great Sindhi Sufi poet has praised Baloch character and respect of their own words and promises.

Great Farsi poet Firdousi says that Baloch army with high flag having black panther is extremely brave no one has ever saw their backs in battle field.

Waris Shah a famous Punjabi poet praises Baloch personality and bravery when he describes Murad Baloch a hero of their love story Heer Waris Shah.

Col. Lamberk and Col. Brown have written in their diaries and reports that they have never seen anyone like Balochs when they fight and no one as Balochs in dialogue due to their seriousness and keeping their words.

The great Baloch womenMillions of Baloch women have played marvelous role in our history starting from the matrilineal society of Mehrgarh. It has been proven by the archeologists and anthropologists that the status of women was the highest; this society was lead by women. The greatest and oldest human urban civilization was not only created mostly by women but for thousands of years in extremely harsh conditions protected and preserved it by their traditional colors and geometrical designs on embroidery and rugs. Baloch medicines are the other area that is totally invented and practiced by Baloch women called Pupoo or balluk, they are not only skilled in collecting and preserving herbs and their medicinal uses, they also know how to relocate bones and increase immunity against viral infections like measles and chicken pocks. Balochi story telling and poetry is another field that is colored and decorated with Baloch womens expressions. Rabia Khuzdari, Hani, Semak and Mahnaz are some of those great Baloch poetesses their work and ideas will be remembered and followed by us always, I personally love one poem of Mahnaz in which she says that she is just like a strong fig tree which cannot be bowed by any proud storm and no rain can even touched its deep roots.. Bibo the sister of Khan Kalat and Banari the daughter of Mir Chakar Rind are the remarkable warrior women of Baloch history. Bibo commanded 16 wars on horseback against Barakzai to get Sibi back from their occupation. Banari was commanding the Baloch army in battle of Delhi. Her words are written on our hearts life is just like dust in my hand, it will disperse one day but honor will exist for ever do not care about life but do care about the honor of Baloch. She won the battle and many families of her Balochs remained in Delhi and still live there. Baloch pride and sense of independence and sovereignty has kept it alive in extremely difficult circumstances and will always be alive and successful with our unity and deep love for honor of our motherland Balochistan.
